Important:

• IVA: 19% over total bill.
• TAG: $ 3,950 + VAT(daily vaue) in toll highway concessions, in Santiago only.
• FEE AEROPUERTO: 8% for vehicles picked up at any of the country's airports.
• FUEL: Cars are handed over with full tank and must be returned likewise. Any difference will be billed to the renter.
• DROP OFF: Charge for pick-up in one city and return in another, only available within the country. See table at bottom of page.
• ADDITIONAL DRIVER: daily value of $ 1,000 plus VAT per driver.
• INTERNATIONAL PERMIT: $ 90,000 plus VAT,/ USD$180.0, applicable only for Argentina, valid for 30 days, includes insurance coverage for damage to third parties.

Requirements & Restrictions

• Valid driver's license in country of residence or international driver's permit.
• ID or valid passport (for foreigners).
• Tarjeta de Crédito: cupo de tarjeta mínimo para garantizar arriendo desde CLP$300.000 ó USD$ 600
• Minimum age for renting: 24.

Geographic Restrictions

• Driving is restricted to Chile, the only exception being Argentina. You may cross into Argentina with a permit, for which you must apply 10 days in advance.
• The same driver authorized to take the vehicle out of the country must return it to Chile.
